Inside their meticulously carved chambers they live industrious and private lives, illuminated by hidden conduits channeling and enhancing the light of Balder's eyes above.

one thing I love about being a warrior is that moment when you dodge an elite or a boss’s strongest attack, the thrills I get when I successfully dodge is almost addictive. Compared to when I play other classes, I happen to be more focused when I play my warrior and also you can enjoy the flashy attacks. Once you get the attack speed buffed items and Glyph options, it is a whole new experience as a Warrior. The attacks are so fast; I can barely see my blades!

This is a sensitive topic. Because the attack range of each race is made through their height, it is hard to say we will let people actively change it. When we implement body proportions the customizing will be for efficiency reasons, not for the player’s taste.Many people seem to prefer really short heights and we think in TERA that will be more the case, so we are trying to prevent that from happening.

The slayer's strong Whirlwind attack has several times the power of the class's basic attack and cuts down enemies on all sides. In order for Whirlwind to do its full damage, the slayer must spend 1.5 seconds “casting” the attack uninterrupted. The cast time might seem like a downside, but the high damage more than makes up for it!

A useful attack to use on foesWOW Gold directly in front of the slayer, Trip Attack does high damage with an 8-second cooldown. Trip Attack has a “cast” time of 1.6 seconds, similar to Whirlwind, but if executed it has a great chance of knocking down the slayer's target.

　　After the opening cinematic, the now-familiar "you have logged on" guitar strum plays and Amareth, my high elf priest, appears at the airship dock next to BrotherMagneto's new aman berserker, AnungUnRama. After an obligatory "/wave" emote, I test the WASD controls and sample the priest's basic attack, Divine Radiance.

A blue burst of energy launches from the priest and travels 18 meters before dissipating. It's immediately apparent that aiming is going to be a key part of playing this class. I give the bottom of my mouse a quick dust-off for more accurate reticle movement, and march down the steps towards Axelle, the first quest-giving NPC.

Axelle doesn't waste any time and quickly explains that I'm needed at the outposts ahead, commenting on how the Federation needs more soldiers "like me," and offering a story quest. This initial quest subtly teaches character movement and quest signage. For instance, new quests are designated by an exclamation mark (red for a story quest, yellow for a normal, zone quest). Question marks and asterisks also come in both colors and designate different stages of completion. The quest rewards are somewhat meager—a pittance of gold and some experience—but I'm not exactly performing heroic deeds quite yet. The next NPC sends me along to the Northern Checkpoint to meet Kishale and put my skills to use for the Federation.

Our first two quests have us killing different kinds of monsters.Tera Gold Cheap Rockcrawlers travel in packs and are fast, slippery little buggers. They don't pose too much of a threat individually but you'll notice that their groups are much closer together—and it's very likely you can aggro two or three groups at once and if you're not prepared they can do a lot of damage. Luckily, these battles are far easier with a group, and AnungUnRama's Cyclone attack means that if he gets surrounded he can take out the weaker mobs easily.

Around this time, BrotherMagneto realizes he's had a higher-level axe in his inventory for the past two levels. I fish around inside my inventory and notice there's some berserker gear I can give him as well. I also notice I've looted upgrades to my current equipment, armor or weapons better than what I'm wearing. After felling the cromos we're battling, we take a brief pause to properly equip ourselves in the more powerful items.

Although Amareth doesn't have buff skills yet Tera Items (spells that provide bonuses to character statistics, damage, or defense), these also have visual indicators as part of the game's interface. Instead of a floating icon, buffed party members get a small icon next to their character name so the player who cast it can tell who received it. The visual effect varies depending on the spell.

It feels like putting on a well-worn glove.I'm writing this before the rest of the event, but already the excitement here has us all giddy. Getting up early tomorrow is going to be easy; I just need to make sure I have enough coffee to last!

From dawn to dusk, during work and play, off duty and on duty, our kickoff TERA test was never far from my thoughts if not the center of my attention. Opening the doors of the game we've been working so hard on, even to a small number of players, marks a very exciting milestone in TERA's journey towards launch. And as the sun rose on Saturday morning and the first characters arrived on the Island of Dawn, it was clear that my mounting anticipation was matched by that of our Community Event Players.

It also feels good to get back into the role of a priest. I never thought I'd love a support character; now it's hard to play anything else. AnungUnRama's sweeping berserker attacks mow down the ebon imps long enough for Amareth's long-range spells to connect with their feathery target.

If someone's gathering and you run up and gather as well, then your progress will match their progress and both players end up with the gathered material. Or in this case, the gathered cargo. I can't actually complete the Kugai quest

　　The runekeepers complete the next phase of the storyline quest so we saved them for last. Amareth and I take turns aggroing and smacking them around; they respond particularly well to the Berserker's Flatten ability (and by respond I mean are easily knocked down by), so we settle into a nice rhythm where Anung runs up, hits, combos for the Flatten, combos into the Cyclone, and Amareth pounds them from a distance. We wrap them up in due course and prepare to head back to the Tainted Gorge Outpost to turn in our opponent's heads. Err, runes.

I can't actually complete the Kugai quest because it turns out my inventory is full. Packrat, you might call me. When I'm several hundred gold richer the next time I go to the store we'll see who's laughing! I realize it's been a couple of levels since I upgraded my equipment so I rearrange things a little, including a new axe and an armor set that Amareth trades me for a priest's staff. I think I got the better end of that deal.

We kick off today's adventure by leaving the safety and security of the Tower Base and heading off into the wild and wooly southern reaches of the Island of Dawn. Even though this is just the starting area, looking back from whence we came, the enormity of the game world really starts to sink in. The Island of Dawn feels big, and when you look at the game map, it's really just a tiny blip. One of these days, I'm going to have to do a "run across the world" adventure and time myself.

This is something we are actively exploring. Initially, we had the plan WOW Gold to use the buildings in big cities as guild houses. Once we started looking more into this, we realized there was a conflict between what we could do with the existing buildings in the cities and what the player expectation was. Putting something unpolished in game can create incomplete content that satisfies no one (players or devs). We are currently looking at what we can do with guild housing so that it’s polished content and meets not only player expectations, but our own.

PK declaration time requires a very delicate balance that satisfies the majority of players. EME will begin our PvP server testing with a five-second PK rule, but will have external testing for these settings this fall and will adjust the final settings based on feedback and overall functionality.

There is already a damage-scaling system in place, but the issue is balancing.RS Gold There are PvP armor/weapon sets as well as PvP-specific skills and crystals. For now, we think the bigger issue is the balance between classes and the user’s skill in controlling a character rather than equipment. We are always listening to player opinions regarding balance, and as we go through external testing and CBTs, we will continue to monitor and implement feedback.

I'm a little disappointed with my first assignment after my victories in the Island of Dawn. I understand that this must be done for the greater good, but still hot off of my victory against the demon Karascha, I expected to take on more pressing issues.

With the human trial portion of the potion testing complete, we head past the refugee tents and cross the bridge connecting Lumbertown to the rest of Fey Forest. The land is shadowed by towering trees and populated with unfriendly warthogs. These giant boars have giant tusks and giant attitude to match. Their presence here is a clear foreshadowing of what's to come.

Almost as soon as Everon and Amareth arrive at the camp, woodsman Weldon sends us back out to collect chopped and neatly piled lumber scattered around the woods. Although the locals could feasibly collect it themselves, there's the porcine menace to consider. Audburn, another villager, asks that bring back the ribs from any warthogs we kill to supplement the outpost's food supply.

The hogs are spoiling for a fight. These monster pigs proactively attack anyone nearby and employ charges and tusk swipesTera Money depending on their distance. Between Everon's evasive maneuvers and Amareth's pain-from-afar spells, these swine are mine—I mean, ours. The lumber is a far simpler affair, locating and collecting the wood piles found under large trees.

Monsters drop hides for leather armor, as well as the runes that give items the magic of the two titans: Runes of Shara imbue weapons with Shara's power, while runes of Arun imbue armor. Higher level armor and weapons also need Runes of Titans, imbued with both.
