I once have puzzled why the Dalian’s old constructions have so thick western European style,it originally because a group of Russian engineers who had eyes only for France culture came here and brought the Paris city construction picture about 100 years ago, they hoped rebuilt a “Eastern Paris” in such a far east land. But I can’t feel it’s really so big wherever I stand on any direction.Then I think it maybe because it has not the traditional opening and hollowness, it contains of so many meaning contents,including visible and invisible,such as the huge music fountain, the exhibition center locates in the north of the center road, south blue sea, full green beside all the paths. South facing the boundless sea, north laying on the high city building, standing there, you surely may feel open mind deeply. It’s a happy coincidence the 13th chinese international beer festival opened when we stayed there in the evening 28th July. Though I’m giddy drinking a bit beer, but thinking of the old huge original beer cans, seeing the yellow liquid flowing with white foaming, a cool fresh happy feeling still appeared from my heart bottom.

  People square is near the train station,which has about 125 thousands of square meters, among them about 40 thousands of square meters covered with green grass. The Zhongshan Road separates it into two parts. This is the administrative and judicial center of Dalian. North is the municipal government,all buildings are full of typical European constructions. Looking up my head to sky, a few kites were flying freely with the breeze. There are many variety of other squares we don’t go one by one, but according to the tourist guide, they are beautiful too with different styles because the most no lack is square, just as the green.
